History
Perivan was founded in 1937 in Rayleigh, Essex. The unusual name comes from the first names of the two founders, Percy Cooke and Ivan Heath.
The company started as a typing service and later became a substantial colour printer. In 1964 it was acquired by Williams Lea for its expertise in the new art of litho printing. It was part of Williams Lea for many years but was somewhat neglected as Williams Lea moved successfully into facilities management.
Our company, Perivan Limited, began trading on August 1st 2003. Today we focus on four core activities: financial printing, communications management, design and solutions. Sales this financial year are expected to be around £9m and we employ 65 staff.
